Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Turkiston and Yunusobod metro stations on the Yunusabad line of the Tashkent metro will begin operating from 25 December 2023. This was stated by the State Unitary Enterprise “Tashkent Metro”.

These stations were temporarily closed in August 2023 due to planned preventive measures.

Then the authorities reported that within four months specialists would carry out the necessary preventive work.

State Unitary Enterprise “Tashkent Metro” notes that in this regard, from 25 December 2023, the stations will operate on a regular schedule from 05:00 in the morning to 00:00 at night.

As a result, the interval of trains on the line will be reduced from 10 minutes to 4 minutes during peak hours. In the future, this figure is planned to be reduced to 2 minutes.
