Jenskoye Sobraniye, Uzbekistan Health Ministry and Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) organized the campaign.

Nine Turkish plastic surgeons led by Deniz Iscen operated 52 children with various inborn face defects. Center of Emergency Medical Aid of Karakalpakstan under Health Ministry of Karakalpakstan were presented list of patients.

The similar operations were conducted in Nukus in May 2009. Turkish specialists in cooperation with the Uzbek surgeons operated 40 children and teenagers.
