Turkish company offers innovative solutions for expanding and distributing mobile network signals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Innovation Development supported by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, Hilton Tashkent City, with the participation of Komtel Technologies (Turkey) held a round table on the topic “Implementation of IBS / DAS technologies as important innovative solutions in the field of telecommunications of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The meeting was dedicated to the implementation of the "Project on the implementation of high-tech solutions in the infrastructure of telecommunication networks, the expansion and distribution of signals of mobile networks in the premises (IBS)."

The main purpose of this event was to address the issues of providing seamless mobile coverage and the bandwidth of mobile signals within large infrastructure facilities of the republic.

In the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Oliy Majlis dated January 24, 2020, it was noted that the widespread introduction of digital technologies will contribute to the effectiveness of state and public administration, the development of the social sphere and the radical improvement of people’s lives. In 2020, Uzbekistan must make a radical turn in the development of the digital economy.

Given the modern structures of objects (buildings), there is a high degree of reflection of mobile signals from the surfaces of these objects, which makes it difficult to penetrate the signals of external antennas of cellular communications into infrastructure objects.

The Turkish company Komtel Technologies offers a number of ready-made innovative solutions in the field of servicing mobile operators, multi-technologies, providing seamless mobile coverage and bandwidth in all accessible areas (IBS), with the integration of new generation digital amplifiers, repeaters and multi-channel fiber-optic DAS systems.

Komtel Technologies also expressed its readiness to implement joint projects and invest in creating infrastructure for telecommunication networks, expanding and distributing indoor mobile network signals (IBS), introducing a passive and active distributed antenna system (DAS), etc.

In order to implement the investment project, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Innovative Development and Komtel Technologies.

During the round table, a presentation and engineering analysis of the Hilton Tashkent City project and the Congress Center was carried out, as well as a technical analysis of the proposed business models for implementing the project in Uzbekistan.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on joint development of the final business model for the implementation of the Project on the introduction of high-tech solutions in the infrastructure of telecommunication networks, the expansion and distribution of mobile network signals in rooms (IBS) in the Republic of Uzbekistan for its implementation in a short time.
