Turkish Company Medikal 2000 Intends to Build a Multi-Specialty Medical Clinic in Ferghana
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Hokim of the Ferghana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Turkish company Medikal 2000, Necip Çimen, and his local partner, Azimjon Mirzaliev.
The parties discussed the prospects for building a modern multi-specialty medical clinic in Ferghana, as well as opportunities for experience exchange between Uzbek and Turkish specialists.
Khayrullo Bozorov spoke about the ongoing healthcare reforms in Uzbekistan, emphasizing that the role of the private sector in medicine continues to grow. He noted that the implementation of joint projects with foreign partners contributes to improving both the quality and accessibility of medical services.
Necip Çimen praised the scale of transformations carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years and highlighted the growing interest of Turkish businesses in cooperation with the country.
During the meeting, proposals were made to construct a clinic meeting European standards, perform surgical operations in cardiology, urology, and oncology, and promote professional exchange programs between doctors of the two countries.
Following the talks, both sides outlined specific steps for the implementation of the project.
