Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 14 December, a meeting was held between the deputy khokim of the capital Sardor Abdullayev and a group of Turkish businessmen headed by the president of the Marmara Group fund Akkan Suver.
Sardor Abdullayev greeted the guests, expressed his readiness to provide comprehensive assistance and answer questions of interest to the guests.
Akkan Suver thanked for the reception, noted with satisfaction that he sees young leaders at the head of many departments of the city, and gave the floor to the founder of the Turkish company "Sigma Engineering" Abuzar Sari.
Mr. Sari spoke about the activities of his company and announced the purpose of the visit - the development and implementation of joint projects for the construction of data processing centers on a turnkey basis. The guests announced their readiness to invest and implement data center projects in the capital, and requested information on the current situation, the capacities already available in Tashkent, and the level of projected demand for data centers.
Sardor Abdullayev, stressing the importance of the development of this IT direction and the relevance of the proposal of Turkish businessmen not only for the capital, but throughout the republic, expressed his readiness to collect and provide the Turkish side with all the necessary information and assist in organizing negotiations with authorized representatives of the Ministry for the Development of Information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
After providing answers to the questions of potential investors, the bilateral dialogue will continue.
