TUIT to create training media center
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
On 6 December, the State Committee for Investment of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed exchange notes and a grant agreement on the project “Creation of an educational media center at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies”.
A grant for 187.9 million Japanese yen (more than US$1.6 million) is provided under the program of no-string assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Within the framework of the project, the educational media center of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies will be created. The center will have scientific research and scientific laboratories, which will be equipped with modern equipment in the field of television and radio.
Implementation of the project will improve quality of teaching in the main special and practical disciplines, professional training of specialists in the areas of cinema operator and technology.
