Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A road accident occurred overnight in Nukus involving a truck with a gas tanker transporting propane. Thanks to the quick actions of emergency services, a gas leak and potential consequences were successfully prevented.

The accident took place at 03:05. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of the MAN truck lost control, crashed through the road barrier, struck a streetlight pole, and then the vehicle overturned onto its side.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), no one was injured in the incident. The ministry's personnel immediately arrived at the scene and used special equipment to eliminate the potential threat. To ensure safety, law enforcement agencies temporarily closed the road section.
