Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A 37-year-old resident of Altyaryk district O.R. appealed to the internal affairs bodies and said that unknown people had withdrawn 1 million 600 thousand soums from his plastic card. This was reported by the Cybersecurity Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a result of operational-search measures, a 16-year-old resident of the city of Gulistan, Syrdarya region, Sh.Sh. is accused of being in the telegram messenger during a conversation with O.R. said about the instant multiplication of his funds by two and sent a dangerous link, got the data of a plastic card and appropriated the money contained in them.

With regard to Sh.Sh. a criminal case has been initiated under part 3 of article 168 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, investigative actions are underway.

According to the law, the criminal acts committed by Sh.Sh. are punishable by five to eight years in prison.
