Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28 April 2025, the city of Changsha in China's Hunan Province hosted the "Travel to Uzbekistan" roadshow, organized by the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee with support from the Uzbek Embassy in China, as part of the Year of Uzbekistan Tourism in China.

The event marked a significant step in promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential and strengthening Uzbek-Chinese cooperation in the travel sector.

More than 80 leading travel companies, as well as representatives of the hotel industry and airlines from Hunan Province, took part in the roadshow.

Guests were introduced to Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities, including new travel routes and tourism products. Special attention was drawn to performances by cultural groups from Namangan and Kashkadarya regions, showcasing national traditions and heritage.

The event also featured B2B meetings between travel companies from both countries. As a result, agreements were reached on hosting tourists from Hunan Province and expanding bilateral cooperation in tourism.
