Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Starting from 2024, Uzbekistan will hold festivals “Travel in each of the four seasons”, opening of tourist seasons.

This is stipulated by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures to significantly increase the flow of foreign tourists to the republic and further enhance domestic tourism.”

The decree states that the spring tourist season begins in the last week of February, the summer tourist season in May, the autumn tourist season in August, and the winter tourist season in November.

In the spring and autumn seasons, the potential of environmental, extreme, agricultural, gastronomic, medical and health tourism in the republic is demonstrated and promoted.

In the summer season, the potential of water, beach, environmental, historical, educational, cultural, entertainment and gastronomic types of tourism in the republic is demonstrated and promoted.

During the winter season, the potential of medical, health and extreme tourism, as well as the capabilities of the ski resort areas of the republic are demonstrated and promoted.

In order to present to tourists the products of tour operators in the direction of domestic tourism, as part of the opening of the tourist seasons “Travel in each of the four seasons”, an internal tourism fair “Travel around Uzbekistan!” is organized.

The internal tourism fair in 2024 will be held in the city of Tashkent at the expense of the Tourism Support Fund, starting in 2025 - in the regions of the republic at the expense of business entities participating in them, as well as local budgets and other sources not prohibited by legislative acts.
