Travel companies in Spain are preparing to open charter flights to Tashkent and Urgench

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A webinar dedicated to the launch of charter flights from Spain to Uzbekistan was held in Madrid, Dunyo news agency reports.

The event, which was attended by more than 650 people, was organized by the largest tour operator in Spain, World2Meet, together with travel companies NewBlue and Kannak.

During the webinar, the commercial director of the World2Meet, Fernando Lucini, noted that Uzbekistan is one of the greatest pearls of the Silk Road and is famous for its gastronomy and hospitality.

Charter flights will connect Madrid with the airports of Urgench and Tashkent and will be carried out on Airbus 330-300 aircraft of the World2Fly airline, owned by the World2Meet tour operator.

The flights will be operated in two stages - the first from 8 May to 12 June, the second from 4 September to 30 October.

Director of the travel company “Kannak” Carlos Florido noted that as part of charter flights, the company has developed a tourist route for Uzbekistan.

Its peculiarity is that it is linear, that is, it begins in Urgench and ends in Tashkent or vice versa.

Over the course of a week, the route will cover about a thousand kilometers across the territory of Uzbekistan and four cities - Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent. Travel around the republic will be carried out by buses.

At the end of the webinar, Florido emphasized that Uzbekistan is the most attractive place in the Central Asian region and it has a great future.
