Tashkent, Uzbekistan (Uzdaily.com) -- Today, for the first time in Uzbekistan, the Transformers Roadshow science innovation competition has started its work, the purpose of which is to accelerate the development of science, technology and innovation in the IDB member countries by identifying innovators from all over the world who are in search of funding partners, curators and new business opportunities.

More recently, we have witnessed a global movement for sustainable development. In 2015, the UN adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which became the international basis for the strategies of countries until 2030.

New concepts have emerged: green finance, digital cities, cyclical economics, smart waste and water management, clean energy, and others.

Innovators from across the region are offered the opportunity to present their ideas that highlight one or more of the UN sustainable development goals. The purpose of the event is to identify initiatives aimed at the development of science, technology and innovation in the IDB member countries and provide an opportunity to innovators (entrepreneurs) who are looking for funding, partners, new business opportunities, to start cooperation with investors, mentors and business partners.

This Transformers Roadshow contest attracts the attention of innovators to what investors are thinking and influencing. At the end of the seminar, innovators will be able to better understand, it is possible to attract funding, and will be able to correctly form their ideas and plans in order to maximize their positive impact on the community and the world.
