Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In particular, as part of the third initiative, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications in Khorezm region opened Digital Technology Training Centers in Khiva in 2019, as well as in Gurlan, Yangibazar and Bagat districts in 2020. These centers provide opportunities for young people to learn modern digital technologies, e-commerce, the basics of programming, robotics, and e-sports.
Over the past period, training centers have attracted more than 500 young people to teach the basics of programming, computer literacy and computer graphics. Of these, more than 200 young people have successfully completed training courses and received certificates.
The fifth training center for digital technologies in the region was opened in Tuprakkala district. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Kakhramon Yuldashev.
The center has spacious and comfortable classrooms equipped with modern computer equipment, conditions have been created for teaching information and communication technologies, robotics, and e-sports. At the center, young people aged 7 to 30 will improve their computer literacy free of charge. Those who successfully complete the courses will be awarded certificates.
The plans also include advanced training for managers and employees of state and economic bodies, local executive authorities in the region in the field of information and communication technologies.
To date, more than three thousand young people have registered on the platform "One million programmers" in Khorezm region, of which 178 have successfully completed the course and received certificates.
