Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Within the framework of the Open Data Challenge 2019 hackathon in Tashkent from 13 to 15 December, a training and competition in data journalism will be held on the topic “Data Journalism, Data Visualization, Software Data Processing”.

The training will be conducted by an international UNDP expert on data journalism.

The event will consist of two parts: one-day training on the date of journalism and the next day a competition to develop the best media material using open data.

Participants journalists and students will be able to practice the methods of working with data and, based on the results, present their own project.

Winners of the first three places will receive valuable prizes.
