Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Uzbekistan, in order to ensure the safety of passengers and trains, train speed restrictions are being introduced. This was announced by Uztemiryulyulovchi JSC.

The company noted that these days there is abnormally hot weather in Uzbekistan. Due to rising temperatures, surface rail transport rails and their steel parts become very hot.

“Therefore, to ensure the safety of passengers and trains, train speed limits are set. As a result, trains may fall behind schedule,” emphasized the Uztemiryulyulovchi JSC.

The company also added that on trains with speed restrictions, the performance of the cooling system may be reduced.

Uztemiryulyulovchi JSC apologizes to customers for the inconvenience caused by the abnormal heat.
