Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the general requirements of the State standard of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Information signs for the navigation system in the tourism sector”, as well as in preparation for the tourist season, a number of measures are being held in Bukhara region.

It should be noted that in connection with the relaxation of quarantine requirements, the gradual establishment of domestic tourism, and the resumption of transportation between several regions of the republic, the visit of local guests is again increasing. In this regard, for the free movement of guests during their trips, on the roads leading to the main tourist demonstration sites of the region, active work is being done to establish tourist information indicators in a single form.

In particular, employees of the Department for Tourism Development of Bukhara Region on the tourist street "Arabon" and around the caravanserai "Jurabek" installed a number of road signs based on new and modern standards.

These measures were carried out in order to ensure the implementation of Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-2980 “On measures to accelerate the development of the tourist potential of the city of Bukhara and the Bukhara region for 2017 - 2019” from 19 May 2017 and No. UP-5611 “On additional measures for accelerated Tourism Development in the Republic of Uzbekistan” from 5 January 2019.
