Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Competition Development and Consumer Rights Protection Committee of Uzbekistan identified legal violations during a tender conducted by the Traffic Safety Service (SBDD) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In June of this year, the SBDD organized a tender amounting to 26.5 billion soums for the procurement of paints for road signs and glass products.
During the inspection, it was established that the tender process violated Article 29 of the Law on Competition. Based on this, the committee issued a directive to annul the results of the tender.
Additionally, the issue of holding the individual responsible for the legal violation accountable will be addressed.
