Traditional festival “Silk and Spices” ends in Bukhara

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- For several days of the "Silk and Spices" festival, various artisan fairs were held in Bukhara, where it was possible to evaluate and buy handicrafts, various souvenirs and, of course, silk scarves. Master classes of artisans from Bukhara and other regions of Uzbekistan were organized on the territory of historical monuments.

Various sports competitions were held in large open areas. At the same time, during the festival, scientific conferences were organized with the participation of historians and art historians, dedicated to the history, culture and preservation of the traditions of Uzbekistan.

The end of the "Silk and Spices" festival was a traditional gala concert at the Ark architectural structure, where you can hear all the richness of Uzbek folk music.

Within the framework of the festival, the best of the best on behalf of the organizers were awarded with memorable gifts and diplomas.

1st place Makom ensemble "Namunali" under the auspices of the Department of Culture.

2nd place Makom ensemble of Gijduvan district;

3rd place Makom ensemble of Bukhara region

The best folk group:

1st place Kagan regional folklore society "Kasri Orifon";

2nd place Vobkent regional folklore ensemble "Mardona";

3rd place Folklore community of Jondar district "Zhandar".

2nd place Barotov Dilnoza

3rd place Khamraev Maksuda

The best young master

1st place Kasimov Jasur

2nd place Minister Atoeva

3rd place Mamurov Maksud

The youngest and most active artisan in the nominations of foreign craftsmen was Muhammad from Afghanistan.
