According to the FCS, trade turnover between two countries decreased by 6.7% compared to the first half of 2011.

At the same time exports from Russia to Uzbekistan grew from US$938,5 million in January-June 2011 to US$1.003 billion soums in the first half of 2012. The growth rate made up 6.9%.

Imports of Russia from Uzbekistan fell by 21.5% from 863.9 million to US$677.9 million in the reporting period.

Share of Uzbekistan in foreign trade turnover of Russia made up 0.4% in the first half of 2012 against 0.5% in the same period of 2011.
