Turkish Ambassador said that US$270 million of them fell to share of exports and US$575 million to imports. Turkish investments into private sector of Uzbekistan exceeded US$1 billion. He said that Turkish companies implement their obligations and win new tenders.

Mehmet Sertaç Sönmezay said that Turkish-Uzbek relations are on progress path. He said that Uzbekistan and Turkey held consultations recently, while Turkish and Uzbek airlines increased number of flights between Istanbul and Turkey to daily.

He said that meeting between Foreign Ministers of Turkey and Uzbekistan was held in New York and the sides agreed to hold political consultations in 2012.

He said that the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Ertuğrul Günay is visiting Tashkent this week and it is planned to hold meetings between Ministries of Transport and Ministries of Justice in next two weeks.

Turkish envoy said that Turkey is observing over development of Uzbekistan. He underlined that Turkey will be close to Uzbekistan and share its experience.
