Toyota launches serial production of new fuel cell vehicle
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Japan’s Toyota launched a serial production of the first car in the world with hydrogen engine.

New sedan Mirai (means future in Japanese) works only on hydrogen and emits only water vapour. The car can travel up to 650 km with one full fuelling. The cost of the fuel for 1 km will make up US$0.1.

Toyota plans to launch sales of new model in December in Japan and from 2016 in the United States. The price of the car is about US$60,000.

At the same time, the Government of Japan will provide subsides at the size of US$17,000 to all buyers of new model.

Soon, Honda is planning to launch own fuel cell vehicle. The company plans to start to sell FVC model in 2016.
