Tourists to be allowed to take photos and videos in public places
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tourists in Uzbekistan will be able to take photos and videos of public places, buildings and structures without any restrictions.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures for development of inbound tourism”.

At the same time, tourists will not be able to shoot some objects. The list of these objects will be approved by law.

The resolution said that these objects will be also marked with special signs, indicating that it is not allowed to take photos and videos.

Uzbek leader also instructed to develop a procedure for issuing permission to foreign creative groups to temporarily import and use on the territory of Uzbekistan unmanned aerial vehicles, including drones, for preparation of photo and video materials about the tourist potential of the republic.

Also, a new procedure for temporary accreditation to foreign television companies, journalists, documentary filmmakers and other creative groups, intending to shoot materials about the tourist potential, nature, culture, traditions of Uzbekistan and the life of the Uzbek people, upon request of the State Committee for Tourism, will be introduced.
