Tourist train Jibek Joly arrives in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, the international tourist train Jibek Joly ("Silk Road") from Kazakhstan arrived at Tashkent Central Railway Station.
Representatives of the capital’s administration warmly welcomed more than 400 travelers, showcasing Uzbekistan’s renowned hospitality. The visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the country’s rich culture, explore its unique traditions, and experience its historical heritage. This visit contributes to strengthening tourism ties and developing new travel routes.
The Jibek Joly train offers travelers a chance to visit ancient cities, enjoy breathtaking landscapes, and gain a deeper appreciation of the region’s cultural legacy.
The first journey of the Jibek Joly tourist train took place in November last year. The project aims to boost tourism, foster cultural connections between regions, and expand economic cooperation.
Additionally, one of the key objectives is to establish a comfortable and secure transport infrastructure for international tourism routes.
