During the event, the participants familiarized with achievements and modern development of tourism in Uzbekistan, perspectives of expanding cooperation in this area. The event also presented information on unique historic sights of Uzbekistan.

Director of Italian Travel Team Natalia Melo said that presented materials once again demonstrated rich spiritual and historic heritage of the Uzbek people. She said that Uzbekistan is a country with ancient history and rich culture, which has famous architecture monuments.

She said that her company is planning to establish close interaction with the Uzbek partners and ready to participate in Mega-info-tur project. She said that Italian Travel Team is planning to sign agreement on cooperation with Uzbektourism.

Vice President of Italian Cultural Association IDRIA Salvo Cacciola stated that currently many Italians are expressing interest in history and culture of Uzbekistan, which is one of dynamically developing countries in tourism sector. He said that foreign tourists, who visit Uzbekistan, can receive quality hotel, transport and tourism services.

The agency said that many participants expected interest in further cooperation and expansion on mutual relations with the Uzbek partners.
