The main goal of the event is to inform Kazakh public on achievements of Uzbekistan in democratic and social economic reforms, directed at increasing tourists inflow into Uzbekistan, Jahon news agency reported.

The event was attended by representatives of leading tourism agencies and mass media of Kazakhstan, who familiarized with efforts of Uzbekistan on development of tourism sector, improvement of tourism infrastructure, rich history of the country, ancient monuments, etc.

Deputy chairperson of the KTA Shakira Adilbekova underlined that active participation of tourism fair in Uzbekistan are giving fruitful results for developing of cooperation in tourism sector.

She said that respect to the historical heritage attracts more and more tourists, who come to the Information Centre of the KTA to receive more information about Uzbekistan to visit its historic-cultural objects and resorts.
