World Travel Market is one of the largest tourism fairs in the world. Some 5,500 tourism firms and companies from 200 countries and over 43,000 tourism sector representatives are attending the event.

The event covers all modern directions of tourism industry. The exhibition comprises of various directions such as business tourism, exotics, ecologic tourism, cruise, hotel and restaurant services, etc.

Uzbekistan national stand attracts attention of the participants and guests with its original design. The stand was decorated with national fabrics and landscape, which created unique color of Uzbekistan. The stand also presents albums, booklets and publications about Uzbekistan and its sights.

Uzbekistan has large number of historic monuments. According to official data, Uzbekistan has over 4,000 historic and cultural monuments. Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Shakhrisabz were included to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
