Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to increase the flow of tourists to Tashkent region, create favorable conditions for them and increase the income of the local population in Bostanlyk, Akhangaran, Parkent, Bukinskiy, Chinaz, Zangiata districts and the city of Angren, the necessary infrastructure will be created based on the concept The Golden Ring, the press service of the State Committee for Tourism said.

This is stated in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 31 December 2019 “On accelerated development of tourism in the Tashkent region for 2019-2021”. According to the document, each district of Tashkent region will develop its own tourism product, thereby developing different areas of tourism. For example, in Bostanlyk district, there is a free tourist zone “Charvak”, Ugam-Chatkal national park, reservoir “Charvak”.

In these places there are all opportunities for the development of tourism. Parkent district is picturesque, there are also attractions for pilgrimage, there is a good potential for agritourism, and many catering outlets. Zangiota is a historical place, has a complex for pilgrim tourism - “Zangiota”, there are also handicraft centers and shopping centers.

Ahangaran is rich in historical sites and cultural heritage sites. However, there are facilities for industrial tourism. Buka has unique tourist sites of a gastronomic direction. Chinaz is located along the main highway connecting Tashkent with other regions, has the potential for the development of agritourism, gastronomic tourism.

Angren is known for its industrial tourism destination. At the same time, Yangiabad and Lashkarak located on its territory are known for beautiful natural views. It should be noted that the Golden Ring concept will initially cover areas such as Bostanlyk, Parkent, Zangiota, Ahangaran, Buka, Chinaz and Angren, which have the greatest tourist potential, and then will be expanded to cover other regions of the country.

The Golden Ring concept includes the following tasks:

Development of maps of tourist routes and directions of the Zangiota - Chinaz - Buka - Akhangaran - Angren - Parkent - Bostanlyk route;

Registration of tourist facilities in the regions, preparation of passports containing all the information about the facilities, development of road maps to improve the quality of service at each tourist facility;

An inventory of existing road infrastructure on tourist routes, taking measures to improve the quality of service, determining the location of existing road infrastructure and preparing standard projects;

Studying international experience in creating new tourist sites on tourist routes, developing new tourist sites, developing and implementing standard projects;

Organization of special minibuses along the Golden Ring line with the involvement of modern cars, vans and buses;

Take measures to improve the road infrastructure of the regions within the framework of the Concept;

Development and regular organization of cultural and entertainment events for national tourists in the regions;

Creation of national tea houses in each region;

The development of handicrafts, the organization of souvenirs for tourists, the creation of house-museums of artisans;

Raising awareness and involving business in organizing family guest houses;

Preparation and distribution of videos, manuals, guides, promotional materials to promote the tourism potential of the Tashkent region in the framework of the Golden Ring concept;

Organization of special training courses for employees of business entities in order to improve the quality of services at tourist facilities.
