Total assets of Asaka Bank exceed 13.56 trillion soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Total assets of Asaka Bank as of 1 July 2017 increased by 5.91 trillion soums compared to the same period of 2016 and reached 13.56 trillion soums.

In the reporting period, total capital of the bank increased by 171.0 billion soums and amounted to 1.147 trillion soums.

The volume of credit investments made up 7.99 trillion soums in soum equivalent, the press service of the bank said.

In the structure of the loan portfolio, long-term loans amount to 7.69 trillion soums, including investment loans – 6.67 trillion soums.

During the first half of 2017, long-term investment loans worth 1.28 trillion soums were allocated for development of enterprises of the most important branches of the economy. Leasing projects for over 62.1 billion soums have been financed in the reporting period and the aggregate leasing portfolio made 154.6 billion soums.

Small business and private entrepreneurship were allocated loans worth 1.045 trillion soums.

To expand production of food and non-food consumer goods, as well as saturation of the domestic market, loans worth 472.7 billion soums were issued.

Loans to graduates of professional colleges amounted to more than 9.1 billion soums.

Loans for support and development of entrepreneurial activity of women entrepreneurs in the amount of 93.7 billion soums were allocated in six months of 2017.

The balance of deposits increased by 218.8 billion soums as of 1 July 2017as compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 924.7 billion soums.

As of 1 July 2017 Asaka Bank issued 1 921 371 cards. This exceeds the same indicator of last year by 143,909 units.

Total turnover of transactions using plastic cards exceeded 1.133 trillion soums as of 1 July 2017, of which 928.3 billion soums fell to share of trade outlets.
