Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 12 January 2023, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to our country Yazguly Mammedov.

During the meeting, topical issues of further deepening the Uzbek-Turkmen relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership were considered.

Particular attention was paid to the comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached as a result of high-level visits.

An exchange of views took place on the schedule of planned events, including within the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.

Specific proposals were discussed to increase the indicators of trade turnover, and accelerate the implementation of joint projects in the areas of trade and industrial cooperation.

It was reported about the readiness of the parties to intensify cultural and humanitarian ties.
