All this means that the medical community is following TIHE closely, and exhibitors and visitors made up overwhelmingly of healthcare professionals come every year to showcase the latest technology, learn about new achievements, and share experience.

Uzbekistan Healthcare Minister Adham Ikramov said that TIHE became “school” of new medical technologies with high educational and scientific importance. He said that the exhibition attracts attention of specialists of the healthcare system.

Nigora Hasanova, director-general of ITE Uzbekistan, underlined that TIHE became main medical event of Uzbekistan for healthcare specialists.

Over 130 companies from 22 countries are participating at the exhibition this year, including 36 domestic companies. About 47% of the exhibitors are making their first appearance at the event this year, and just some of the companies represented among the exhibitors are from Japan, Turkey, the Netherlands, the UK, and Switzerland.

The exhibition will be divided into the following thematic sections:

• Medical equipment: anaesthetic, respiratory, diagnostic, and physio equipment, products for emergency services, and much more, showcased by companies such as Siemems, Draeger Medical, Schiller UZ, Shimadzu, and Carl Zeiss. The section will cover 60% of the exhibition’s total floor space.

• Pharmtech section: pharmaceutical products and equipment/technology for pharmaceutical production, featuring the likes of Herbapol, Biomed, IMA SpA, Hunan China Sun Pharmaceutical Machinery, and many others. This section has grown in size in recent years to the extent that it now covers a third of the event’s exhibition space.

• Dentistry instruments: brands such as Baba Instrument, Plasmolifting, and Tibbiyot will display the latest developments in dentistry, filling materials, and tools.

• Laboratory equipment: Vital Development Corporation, Ecolab, Avikon Med, Denis Med, Global Impex, and others.

• Cosmetics: presented by companies such as Belita and Safo Clinics.

The domestic market is represented at the exhibition, with Form Sistem, Вiomed Group, FPI Delivery Servis, Atm-Partners, Baxtteks-Pharm, Navbahor Sanoat, and Nika Pharm just some of the large number of Uzbek exhibiting companies.
