Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 July, tickets for local trains will become more expensive in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of Uztemiryulyulovchi.

The company noted that tickets will rise in price by 25% for trains on local routes “Nasaf”, “Sharq” and “Uzbekistan”.

Uztemiryulyulovchi stated that the increase in ticket prices is due to the introduction of additional services on passenger trains, their further development, renewal, modernization of the fleet of passenger cars, the acquisition of new electric trains, as well as bringing stations into proper shape.
