Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting from February 1, ticket prices for regular (sleeping) passenger trains will increase by 10.5%, according to the company "Uzjeldorpass."

This decision has been made to partially cover the costs of passenger transportation, as well as expenses related to infrastructure, electricity, fuel, and the modernization of the rolling stock. Additionally, improvements will be made to station operations and passenger services.

Previously, an increase in ticket prices was announced for high-speed trains, such as Afrosiyob (by 20-25%) and "Shark," "Nasaf," and "Uzbekistan" (by 30%).
