Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation of businessmen from the federal state of Thuringia, Germany, is currently visiting Uzbekistan.

On 23 September, a meeting took place between Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Stefan Blechschmidt, Director of the Thuringia Economic Development Agency (LEG Thüringen).

The delegation comprises representatives of German businesses interested in establishing partnerships with Uzbek companies.

LEG Thüringen supports the establishment of connections between enterprises and accompanies business delegations both within Thuringia and beyond.

During the meeting, the current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Thuringia was discussed, along with prospects for further development of relations in trade, economy, culture, humanitarian efforts, and innovation.

Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented a special overview of Uzbekistan's investment climate and the chamber's activities, which was met with great interest from the Thuringian delegation.

Entrepreneurs and investors from Thuringia highly appreciated Uzbekistan's serious focus on foreign trade policy and expressed their readiness to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

In particular, they noted the significant opportunities in export and manufacturing within the industrial sector and expressed their willingness to explore the prospects for expanding their activities in Uzbekistan.

As a result of the discussions, specific measures were identified to organize joint projects, expand trade opportunities, and strengthen cooperation.
