Today, the Central Electoral Commission [CEC] received applications from the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the movement of businessmen and entrepreneurs - the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP), and the Adolat [Justice] Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, which request to register their candidates nominated for the post of Uzbekistan’s president. Now, within seven days, the CEC will check the documents submitted by the parties and give its conclusion on their compliance with the requirements of the law "On election of Uzbekistan’s president".
