Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Three people were injured as a result of a fire that occurred in one of the cafes on Sarakul street in Mirabad district of Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, information about the fire was received at 9:39. Five minutes later, five fire crews arrived at the scene.

The fire was contained at 10:06 and extinguished at 10:35.

As a result of the incident, three people were injured and were hospitalized.

The fire also caused damage to the cafe’s roof and ceiling structures over an area of 150 to 200 square meters.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations is investigating to find out the cause of the fire.
