Three new credit unions registered in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Bank of Uzbekistan registered three new credit unions, the regulator said in a statement.

According to the bank, the licenses were issued in line with the article 17 of the Law “On Central Bank of Uzbekistan” and article 4 of the Law “On credit unions”.

Central Bank of Uzbekistan registered Mega polis credit union (Zangiata district of Tashkent region) with the charter capital of over 111.4 million soums.

The regulator also issued license to Oltin Mezon credit union (Oltiariq district of Ferghana region) with the charter capital of 114.7 million soums.

Ko'kaldosh credit union will function in Bukhara city. The charter capital of the credit union is about 104.7 million soums.

The activities of credit unions will be directed at financing business projects of their members – small businesses and individual entrepreneurs, as well as render leasing services.
