Three new base organizations have been created in the CIS

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the Commonwealth of Independent States, three institutions have been given the status of basic organizations - in the field of research into problems of ensuring military security, in the field of university sports and in the field of training, retraining and advanced training of personnel for judicial systems.

The corresponding decisions were signed on 12 April at a meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in Minsk, the CIS Executive Committee reports.

The Scientific Research Institute of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus received the status of the basic organization of the member states of the Commonwealth in the field of research into problems of ensuring military security. The issue was developed in accordance with the Concept of Military Cooperation of the CIS Countries until 2025, which envisages the development of interaction in the field of military science and increasing its influence on ensuring the military security of states.

Research Institute of the Armed Forces is the main scientific organization of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, providing scientific support for solving military security problems. The Institute has many years of successful experience in organizing international information exchange in the field of military science.

The Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism has become the base organization in the field of university sports.

The definition of this basic organization is envisaged by the Strategy for the Development of Cooperation between Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of physical culture and sports for 2021–2030 and is aimed at implementing the task of developing university sports as a basis for training the sports reserve of the CIS countries.

Povolzhsky State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism provides high-quality physical education, sports and tourism education according to modern international standards. Specialists are trained using innovative techniques. The university has a developed infrastructure, modern classrooms and laboratories, and high-tech sports facilities.

The status of a basic organization in the field of training, retraining and advanced training of personnel for judicial systems was given to the Russian State University of Justice.

It is expected that this decision will allow organizing interaction between specialized educational and scientific institutions of the CIS countries in such areas as the exchange of experience of teaching and scientific personnel, joint scientific research, mutual provision of advisory assistance, information, scientific and educational support, development of recommendations for improvement programs for training, retraining and advanced training of personnel for judicial systems, conducting scientific and practical events (conferences, seminars), publishing and distributing scientific, educational, information-analytical and other materials.
