Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Three new automated air quality monitoring stations have been launched in Tashkent as part of the joint project "Automation of Atmospheric Air Pollution Monitoring" by the Zamin Foundation and the Agency for Hydrometeorological Services (Uzhydromet).
According to the Zamin Foundation’s press service, since the project’s inception, a total of 19 automatic stations have been connected across Uzbekistan, integrated into a unified database available on the national platform monitoring.meteo.uz.
The newly installed stations are located near the "Uch Kahramon" post, the "Zenit" plant, and the "New Uzbekistan" park.
These stations are equipped to perform comprehensive analyses of air pollution. The equipment was manufactured by Horiba, a leading global supplier of environmental monitoring systems with branches in Japan and Germany.
The installed stations are recognized as benchmark instruments and are used by reputable institutions for calibrating their own devices.
