Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan Aviation Agency has granted permission to three foreign airlines to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan, the agency’s press service reported.
The Malaysian airline AirAsia X Berhad has been authorized to operate flights on the Kuala Lumpur–Tashkent–Kuala Lumpur route, while South Korea’s T’way Air will fly on the Seoul–Tashkent–Seoul route. Both airlines will operate Airbus A330 aircraft.
Additionally, the Egyptian airline Red Sea Airlines, which previously only operated charter flights on the Tashkent–Sharm El Sheikh route, has now been granted permission for regular flights.
