Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The head of the party “A Just Russia - For Truth” Sergei Mironov considers the statement of his party member Zakhar Prilepin about the possible accession of Uzbekistan to Russia as an emotional opinion.

Mironov emphasized that there are no real steps in this direction.

“Of course, there are and cannot be any real encroachments on the independence and sovereignty of our (neighbors in the) CIS,” he said.

Mironov is surprised by the reaction to Prilepin’s remarks and notes that this is just a personal opinion and is not part of the party’s political program.
