Starting from 2012, Embassy of South Korea annually has been holding the contest. This year, the teams, which will pass preliminary stage on 1 August, will perform at Turkiston Palace.

The winners will receive chance to participate in the K-POP WORLD FESTIVAL 2014, which will be held in October in South Korea.

K-POP WORLD FESTIVAL is organized by Ministry of Culture and Tourism of South Korea in cooperation with KBS channel. It is attended by participants from 50 countries.

Alladin won the contest in Uzbekistan in 2013 and participated at K-POP WORLD FESTIVAL. Uzbek band won the first place.

The Embassy said that this year, the contest will include tourism exhibition, which will help to improve cultural exchange between citizens of two states.
