Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- More than 200 students and young scientists of Primorye will take part in the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (16+) (EEYF), which will be held from 24 to 28 April simultaneously in seven CIS countries.
The theme of the EEYF in 2023 is “A multipolar world in the focus of a new reality”. More than 2 thousand experts and guests are striving to offer their vision of the development of their native cities and countries in the current economic and geopolitical situation: scientists; government officials, businessmen and diplomats. In total, more than 11.7 thousand registered contestants, guests and experts from 96 countries and more than 79 regions of the Russian Federation.
The main program of the XIII EEYF includes 45 competitions on a wide variety of topics: inclusive finance, enterprise ecology, and municipal management. Young scientists consider the competitiveness of territories, investments in the global economy, problems of economic theory and behavioral economics, problems of entrepreneurship in different countries of the world.
Abstracts of the best works are annually combined into a collection. The materials of the XII EEYF 2022 took up 1000 pages. The authors of the best papers will receive cash prizes and additional 5 points to the results of the Unified State Examination for admission to the bachelor's degree and 2 points - to the master's program at USUE - the only specialized economic university in the Urals.
Traditionally, the EEYF will host the Ural Queen (16+) Rapid Chess Tournament named after Grandmaster Anatoly Karpov. In 2023, the forum program for the first time includes the All-Russian SAMBO competitions (16+). Another novelty is a creative contest (16+). Young artists under 25 will present their work in front of a team of UN agencies in Russia. The 15 best will be exhibited at the Festival of Cultures (16+) at the International Exhibition Center "Ekaterinburg-Expo".
Heads of 60 Russian and foreign universities will gather for the annual Council of Rectors within the framework of the EEYF (16+), where they will outline measures for mutual support in the field of education. New cooperation agreements will be signed between the universities.
For the first time in the history of the EEYF, on 24 April 2023, with the support of the media group "Komsomolskaya Pravda", a media forum "The work of the media in the new political, economic and international reality" (16+) will be held. Heads of more than 40 mass media of the CIS countries will take part in it.
As part of the plenary session (16+), international level media managers will make presentations.
Thematic sections will discuss issues related to the daily work of the media in 2023. Master classes (16+) with leading industry professionals are planned for journalists and employees of the press services of municipalities.
The forum is organized by the Ural State University of Economics (Yekaterinburg), as well as leading universities in St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Kaliningrad, Astana, Baku, Minsk, Almaty, Osh, Tashkent, Bishkek and Dushanbe.
