The World Society to republish a copy of the manuscript of the Spanish medieval author Clavijo

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan has been granted a unique right to create a copy of the unique work of the medieval author Clavijo.

It was created about half a century before the beginning of Spanish printing, and its publication was carried out only after a century and a half.

To date, two lists of the manuscript are known. Both are kept in the National Library of Spain.

“During the visit of the chairman of the World Society Firdavs Abdukhalikov to Spain, we had the good fortune to see these unique works with our own eyes, as well as to meet and negotiate on cooperation with the director of the Department of Manuscripts of the National Library of Spain, Javier Docampo Capilla. As a result of the negotiations, the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan was granted a unique right to create a copy of the handwritten version of the diary,” said Charlotte Kramer, President of the Mueller & Schindler Publishing House.

A copy of the manuscript is published jointly with the Austrian publishing house "Muller & Schindler" and the National Media Association of Uzbekistan.

A new direction of activity of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan has become a project to republish outstanding works dedicated to the history of Uzbekistan and its outstanding personalities, and one of them is the creation of a copy of the work of the Spanish medieval author Clavijo.

It should be noted that the project is being implemented with the support of the international oilfield services company Eriell Group.
