Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 25 to 28 May 2019, the international extreme sports competition "Rally Muynak" was held in the city of Muynak of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
More than 150 athletes from 8 countries took part in the competitions organized between professional athletes in racing cars, buggies and motorcycles.
The competitions were held on the dry bottom of the Aral Sea - along the Ustyurt Plain, where athletes, using all their skills, fought for the winner’s prize in the amount of 100 million soums.
In the race of cars with an engine capacity of 1600 cm3, the 1st place was taken by representatives of the city of Tashkent, the 2nd place went to athletes from Jizzakh, the 3rd place - athletes from Kashkadarya.
In competitions in specially equipped sports cars with an engine capacity of 2000 cm3, the capital’s representatives were out of competition, the 2nd place went to athletes from Andijan, the 3rd place was awarded to athletes from Samarkand.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism organized a press tour with the participation of journalists and bloggers in order to widely popularize the events abroad and in local media.
