Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The warehouse owned by Inter logistiks LLC is listed as a customs facility. According to the information service of the State Customs Committee, a certain part of this warehouse has the status of a customs warehouse.

A customs warehouse is an object of licensed activity of business entities. In this case, the warehouse owner - a business entity - stores the goods of other entrepreneurs brought to Uzbekistan, in other words, not yet cleared goods on the basis of a mutual agreement until customs clearance is completed.

In world practice, such warehouses are called “customs”. Currently, there are about 400 customs warehouses in our republic that have the appropriate licenses.

“Based on the above, we remind you that customs warehouses, in particular the warehouse where the fire occurred, are not included in the list of buildings and structures of the customs authorities,” the message says.
