Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The volume of net foreign exchange reserves of Uzbekistan as of 1 March 2020 exceeded US$30.52 billion, according to the data of the Central Bank.

At the same time, gross gold and currency reserves as of 1 March made up US$30.1 billion.

Foreign currency assets of Uzbekistan reached US$12.87 billion (an increase of US$258 million compared with the beginning of February 2020) and monetary gold - US$17.29 billion (an increase of US$335 million). Net gold declined from 10.73 million troy ounces in February to 10.63 million troy ounces in March.

Compared to the beginning of 2020, foreign exchange reserves increased by more than US$1.3 billion.
