Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency, as of 1 October 2023, the country has 22 special economic zones (SEZ), 323 directorates of small industrial zones (MPZ), 24 technology parks and 450 clusters, which included: FEZ - 752 enterprises, MPZ - 2,488, technology parks - 1,501 and clusters - 455 enterprises.

The volume of industrial production for the specified period totaled 55.23 trillion soums, including: in SEZ – 27.54 trillion soums, MPZ – 6.35 trillion soums, technology parks - 699.1 billion soums and clusters – 20.7 trillion soums.

The largest volume of industrial production was recorded in free economic zones – 27.54 trillion soums.

In January-September 2022, the total volume of industrial production made up 40.91 trillion soums, including: in SEZ – 19.51 trillion soums, MPZ -3.38 trillion soums, technology parks - 167.7 billion soums and clusters – 17.84 trillion soums.

The volume of construction work carried out on our own during the specified period totaled 788.4 billion soums, including: in SEZ - 162.8 billion soums, MPZ - 143.1 billion soums, technology parks - 444.1 billion soums, clusters - 38.5 billion soums.

The largest volume of construction work performed on their own was recorded at enterprises included in technology parks - 444.1 billion soums.

In January-September 2022, the volume of construction work carried out on our own totaled 114.6 billion soums, including: in SEZ - 9.2 billion soums, MPZ - 100.0 billion soums, technology parks - 5, 1 billion soums and clusters – 0.3 billion soums.

The volume of investments in fixed capital from all sources of financing during the specified period amounted to 5.65 trillion soums, of which: in SEZ – 2.48 trillion soums, MPZ - 325.2 billion soums, technology parks - 334.7 billion soums and clusters – 2.5 trillion soums.

Profit (loss (-)) before payment of income tax totaled 3.2 trillion soums, including, respectively: in MPZ - 194.8 billion soums, technology parks – 2.47 trillion soums, SEZ - 873.4 billion soums and clusters – -334.7 billion soums.

In January-September 2022, the amount of profit (loss) of enterprises before tax totaled 4.08 trillion soums, including: in SEZ - -1.77 trillion soums, MPZ - 200.5 billion soums, technology parks – 1.21 trillion soums and clusters – 900.6 billion soums.

Accounts receivable for the specified period totaled 21.06 trillion soums, including: in SEZ – 9.16 trillion soums, MPZ – 1.57 trillion soums, technology parks – 2.51 trillion soums and clusters – 7.82 trillion soums.

Accounts payable for the same period totaled 21.29 trillion soums, including: in SEZ – 8.22 trillion soums, MPZ – 1.88 trillion soums, technology parks – 3.37 trillion soums and clusters – 7.81 trillion soums.
