Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 August, the volume of gold and foreign exchange reserves of Uzbekistan made up US$33.64 billion, according to information published on the website of the Central Bank.
In July, the volume of international assets decreased by US$72 million.
The volume of foreign exchange assets amounted to US$9.56 billion. The volume of deposits of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan in other countries and the IMF increased to US$1.64 billion, and accounts in foreign financial institutions decreased by US$1.09 billion to less than US$8 billion.
The gold reserve slightly decreased at the beginning of August, amounting to US$23.02 billion.
The physical volume of gold decreased by 2.5% - to 11.8 million troy ounces.
