Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation led by Mirziyod Yunusov, Chairman of the Uzeltekhsanoat Association, is on a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, the Association’s press service reported.

As part of the trip, a meeting was held with representatives of Xiaomi, one of China’s leading technology companies.

The parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation, with a focus on establishing new production facilities in Uzbekistan, introducing advanced technologies, and sharing expertise.

Delegation members also familiarized themselves with China’s production processes, innovative developments, and industrial ecosystem.

The talks with Xiaomi are expected to mark an important step in the development of Uzbekistan’s technology sector and open up new opportunities for its modernization in the near future.
