Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Indian Institute of Information Technologies in Allahabad (IIIT-A) and Samarkand State University (SamSU) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding, the Hindustan Times reported.
From the Uzbek side, the Memorandum was signed by the rector of SamSU R. Khalmuradov.
The document envisages the exchange of academic knowledge and experience, the exchange of teachers for the purpose of conducting lectures, research, meetings and other events.
The parties will promote the exchange of students, joint research projects and the organization of joint seminars, conferences, etc. The memorandum was signed for a four-year period.
According to the Memorandum, the Uzbek-Indian Center for Information and Communication Technologies will be created on the territory of the IIIT-A campus. A working group of nine people was created to organize the center.
